“We work with the Boys & Girls Club because it gives the college students an opportunity to develop the teaching skills that are necessary for nurses when it comes to teaching health promotion. We use the Boys & Girls Club as a clinical site for the pediatric clinic,” said Weber. “I am familiar with the Club because my daughter has attended before. It was the natural choice.”

Answering President Obama's Nationwide Call

In June, President Obama sent out a nationwide call to service, United We Serve, challenging every American to "volunteer this summer and be part of building a new foundation for America."
